OUR STORY
Still Life is a community where artists and readers imagine about the world in fiction and transform it—its characters, scenes, anything—into a visual work. Our name, Still Life, comes from the idea of a still-life painting, which depicts mundane objects, from a rock to a man-made book. So we aim to create the still-lives of the texts: to visualize what you have never seen before.
Any artist can participate in the website by posting their works. We also organize projects for selected artists and selected books. We hope our website creates the chance for the readers to enjoy books not only as a text but also as a source of further creation, and for the artists to explore their unique style: to connect different forms of art through imagination and visualization.
